Oversized Yaffa Orange Shirt

Before the name was taken, the Jaffa orange was Palestinian. Palestinian farmers grew the famous Shamouti orange in the groves around Yaffa, and by the late 1800s it was shipped across the world. In 1948, most of the city's Palestinian families were forced from their homes, leaving the groves behind. On the back, Yaffa oranges and orange blossoms sit in an arch over a pink tatreez pattern, the traditional Palestinian embroidery, with Yaffa oranges in Arabic down each side. The front features a single orange slice stamped "Yaffa."
